Camping and spending your holiday in France is all about enjoying yourself. At La Charvière, the kids will have such a great time that you’ll hardly have to worry about them.

Everyone can relax and enjoy themselves: swimming in the pool, spending time with all our animals, bouncing on the large trampoline, or roasting marshmallows around the campfire area.

Or going on adventures with new friends in the play forest, having an impromptu match on the football field, or simply relaxing in a hammock.

A large natural playground in the middle of the campsite , featuring two climbing towers with rope bridges, swings, and much more, completes the endless play opportunities.

What can we offer?

Large natural estate

Camping La Charvière is an estate of more than 5 hectares in the authentic countryside of central France, featuring a beautiful farmhouse built in traditional Bourbonnaise style dating back to the 1800s.

Accommodations

Surrounding the farmhouse, you will find two authentic holiday homes (gîtes), as well as a small, family-friendly campsite with spacious pitches arranged around the play area.

In between, you will find 4 safari tents, 2 tipi tents, 2 mobile homes, and a caravan. There is also a soothing magnesium swimming pool, a barrel sauna, and a yard full of animals, play areas, and recreational facilities.

WIFI

Free WiFi is available around and inside the farmhouse. There is also a lovely covered outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a delicious cappuccino, an espresso, fresh mint tea, organic wine, soft drinks, or an ice cream.

Indoor spaces for less favourable weather

In less favourable weather, we also offer a separate lounge with a wood-burning stove for our guests, as well as a play barn where children can have fun and let off steam.

Bread service and table d’hôtes

We offer delicious table d’hôtes meals prepared by our chef, who has worked in a Michelin-starred restaurant. In addition, we provide a daily bread service with fresh rolls every morning.

In short, everything you need for a comfortable stay and a successful holiday!

At Camping La Charvière, you will find two authentic natural stone gîtes. A detached and spacious gîte for 6 people, entirely on one level and located directly next to the swimming pool, and a cozy 4-person gîte with two floors, situated at the front of the farmhouse overlooking the meadow. Both gîtes are fully equipped with all modern comforts, including a washing machine, microwave, television, wood-burning stove, and a peaceful private garden.

For an adventurous yet luxurious camping experience, our safari tents are spacious and feature comfortable beds, a kitchen, and a veranda.

A unique way to stay overnight in nature. These tents are spacious and offer an authentic camping experience with a touch of comfort.

For those who want the convenience of a caravan but with extra space and comfort, our mobile homes are modern and fully equipped.
