Tourist information
In the beautifully green Auvergne, you will find a wide range of sights, activities, recreational opportunities, and day trips. Beautiful medieval towns, sleepy villages, castles, Romanesque churches, brocantes, farmers’ markets, museums, rivers, lakes, the volcanoes of the Central Massif, and various amusement parks — it is simply too much to mention. One thing is certain: the authenticity and cultural richness, as well as the space and natural beauty, will pleasantly surprise you!
At the reception, plenty of tourist information is available, including brochures, maps, and guidebooks for you to borrow. We are happy to help you further to make your holiday unforgettable!

Wine festivals

In mid/late August, the wine festivals take place in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. All the wines from this region are available for you to taste.

Brocantes

France is famous for its many flea markets and antique fairs. They range from true antiques to simple flea markets. Every Sunday and on public holidays, you can find a brocante nearby.

Music festival in Gannat

And what if all the peoples of the world joined hands… to dance? In the 1970s, the idea for this festival was created by Jean Roche. Every year, 400 artists from all over the world and all cultures come together here, 13,000 tickets are sold for the performances, and 55,000 visitors come to the “world village,” which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m.

From mid to late July, the “Festival des Cultures du Monde” will take place again in Gannat. It is a festival where all continents are represented with singing, dance, music, and theatre performances.
