Welcome to Camping La Charvière, where you can enjoy a relaxing stay in an authentic gîte in the French countryside. Our charming holiday homes offer comfort and character, perfect for families and those seeking peace and quiet. Located in the beautiful Auvergne, in the heart of nature, you can experience the French lifestyle here with the familiar hospitality of Belgian owners.

Relax by the magnesium swimming pool, enjoy homemade meals, and let the children play in the large garden and animal meadow. Take a walk along the Roman path and meet all our animals, such as horses, ponies, goats, donkeys, sheep, primitive sheep, a pig, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, and ducks. You will also find cats and dogs on the farmyard, looking at you affectionately for a cuddle. Thanks to our personal service and tips, you can discover the most beautiful spots in the region. Camping La Charvière is the perfect place to enjoy a carefree holiday in the heart of France.

This cozy natural stone gîte, located at the end of the farmhouse, offers views over meadows and fields. From the gîte, you can immediately start your walks and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

When you enter, on the left you will find the living room with a wood-burning stove, and on the right the large open kitchen. The space is separated by a fixed staircase leading to the first floor. Here you will find the 2 bedrooms: the large bedroom with a double bed (140×200 cm) and the smaller room with a bunk bed (80×200 cm) and a fold-out bed (90×200 cm). The beds are equipped with duvets and pillows. Bed linen, towels, and kitchen linen must be brought by yourself, but can also be rented. On this floor you will also find the bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.

The gîte is also equipped with a TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, oven/microwave, Miele vacuum cleaner, and a Dolce Gusto and Senseo coffee machine.

This holiday home has its own private garden with a picnic table.

This authentic gîte is located in the farmhouse.

You can enter this gîte through the reception, where you take the stairs to the first floor. When you come in, you step directly into the cosy living area. On the left you will immediately find the fully equipped kitchen with dining area. There are 3 bedrooms: a bedroom with a double bed (140×190 cm) and a bunk bed, with a separate bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, and sink, a bedroom with 2 double beds (140×200 cm), separated by a partition wall, also with a separate bathroom including a bathtub, sink, and toilet. There also is an attic room with 2 single beds – a very cosy attic space. The beds are equipped with duvets and pillows.

Bed linen, towels, and kitchen linen must be brought by yourself, but can also be rented.

The gîte is also equipped with: TV, microwave, electric stove, Senseo and Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
Please note: this gîte does not have a garden or terrace.

This modern French gîte will be a truly unique gîte!
A large window in the living room offers a view of the animals in the barn. You literally sleep and live among the animals.
This gîte will have a more modern interior than the others. It is uniquely located at the end of the large barn. It also features its own enclosed garden with views of the animals and a beautiful landscape.
How this gîte will be further arranged is still a surprise for us as well!

  Travelled with older children

  We stayed in the large gîte. A romantic and cosy stay, nicely private yet not isolated. It has its own garden.
  An extremely pleasant place to relax. Lots of animals, a chlorine-free swimming pool, plenty of greenery, rustic charm, truly a little French paradise.
  Roelof is a top-notch host. And if “BouleBrie” is being served, make sure to join in for dinner — it’s absolutely delicious.
